The Career Expo Fair is designed to introduce freshmen to a wide range of career fields through interactive exploration. Businesses and organizations will showcase industries and career opportunities that help students connect classroom learning to future pathways. Our goal is to spark curiosity, excitement, and engagement, empowering students to see the relevance of their education while interacting with professionals who represent real-world careers. This experience lays the foundation for lifelong learning and
workforce readiness.

Approximately 600-650 9th Grade students will attend, gaining direct exposure to Raytown’s two career academies: Health & Human Services and Business, Innovation, & Industry. Students will rotate through booths, ask questions, and engage with hands-on materials that highlight career journeys, industry insights, and essential skills.
