Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
Please join us for the annual Kansas City 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at the First Responder's Memorial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The American Legion Band will play from 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. Special guests include Master of Ceremonies Taylor Hemness, KSHB 41 News, Raytown Mayor Mike McDonough, KCPD Chief Stacey Graves, and KCFD Chief Ross Grundyson. The ceremony will give the public an opportunity to honor the victims of 9/11 as well as show appreciation to our current first responders. “We will never forget.” This beautiful event is co-hosted by American Legion Post 189, VFW, Muehlebach Funeral Care, Passantino Bros. Funeral Home and the Catholic Cemeteries of Kansas City/St. Joseph.
