Back to School Day

It’s almost time to say goodbye to summer and prepare to hit the books once again. We are kicking off the new school year with our Back to School Day on Saturday, August 6 and Sunday, August 7, 2016. From 10 am to 3 pm enjoy your last days of Summer break with exciting activities around the Zoo. On Saturday only, meet PBS’s popular character, Daniel Tiger, in the Helzberg Penguin Plaza. He will be taking pictures with guests 10 am to 2 pm. Our animals will be enjoying special enrichment items at scheduled times throughout the day. Those items were generously donated by our amazing Zoo supporters during the Christmas in July promotion.
