The Raytown Police Department will be hosting free CERT training, beginning June 5, 2015. The training provides an excellent opportunity to learn about preparing yourself and your family for a variety of emergencies and disasters that could affect our community. Training includes basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. The program culminates with a mock disaster exercise where the participants put CERT skills to use.
