Chamber Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Come celebrate the grand opening of The Taproom at Crane Brewing by attending a Chamber Ribbon Cutting on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.  The ribbon cutting will officially open the taproom so arrive between 3:30 and 3:45 so we can prepare to cut the ribbon at 3:55 pm.     

Chris Meyers, one of the co-owners, told us, “One year ago, we were still brewing our first beers. We hadn't sold a single drop. We were planning how we wanted to launch our beers into the market. We only had one distributor at that time who was planning to sell our beer around the Kansas City Metro and Lawrence. We had not won any awards. We were not a part of any committees or local groups. We did not have any barrels in our barrel cellar. We did not have our own Beer Fest.”

“In a year, we have created and sold over 20 different beers since then amassing to over 30,000 gallons of beer. We have tap handles and store displays all over our territories. We have 5 distributors selling our beer throughout the state of MO, Eastern KS, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. We have an incredible festival where brewers, distillers, winemakers, and other artisans and guests come from around the country to share their passion. We now have a beautiful Taproom where people can continue to visit us from all over the country.”
