We are proud to partner with the Kansas City Metro Police squad in support of the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in the fight against opioid misuse. Take action by turning in your unused and expired medication for safe disposal. ACCEPTED ITEMS: Tablets, capsules, patches, hydrocodone (Norco, Lortab, Vicodin), oxycodone (Oxycontin, Percocet), tramadol (Ultram), codeine, fentanyl (Duragesic), morphine, hydromorphone (Dilaudid), oxymorphone (Opana) NOT ACCEPTED ITEMS: Needles, syringes, lancets, inhalers, liquids The collection site is located in Lot B of the Research Medical Center Brookside Campus. Please follow event signs to the drive-thru medication drop-off location. Opioid misuse is a public health crisis in the United States.
