The National Historic Trails...Upgrades and Enhancements!
A PowerPoint presentation will be made by Larry Short on the upgrades and enhancements that will be coming to the forty mile trails corridor of the National Historic Trails that runs between the Upper Independence/Wayne City Landing on the Missouri River to Gardner Junction in Kansas where the trails split. Featured will be the new multi-use pedestrian trails which are currently under construction and those that are planned. Learn of the economic benefits that these new multi-use trails will bring to the area. The public is invited and there is no charge for these events. Refreshments will be served.
