IMMANUEL: A Christmas Evening

Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church is please to host IMMANUEL, a live concert of original songs that tells the Christmas story in the first person. The concert walks through the biblical Christmas narrative through the eyes of: Isaiah, Gabriel, Mary, one of the shepherds, the angel chorus, Joseph, the star of Bethlehem, one of the wise men and the innkeeper. It is a musical evening that tells the old, true story in a new way. IMMANUEL is written and performed by Melanie Penn, a Nashville based singer, songwriter, and worship leader who writes pop songs at the crossroads of faith and culture. She has just released her 6th album.
