June 2022 Membership Luncheon
with Grandview and South Kansas City Chambers
We are excited to have Gary Lezak from KSHB 41 News with us for the June 23, 2022 luncheon to be held at Faulkner's Ranch along with Grandview and South Kansas City Chambers.
Gary Lezak grew up in Southern California and since the age of 5-years-old he has been fascinated with weather. He went to the University of Oklahoma where he got his Bachelors of Science Degree in Meteorology. He immediately got a series of big breaks and suddenly found himself on the CBS station in Oklahoma City. In 1992 he got his next big break and landed a job in KC and he has now been here for 30 years.
He love sports, weather, and dogs. He also enjoys weight lifting. It was also 35 years ago when he made a scientific discovery known as the LRC. The weather patterns are cycling and he has found the order in chaos in that river of air above us. His passion for weather continues to this day!!!!
Gary will tell us how he got started in his career and the discovery that the weather pattern is cycling. Around 35-years-ago He discovered that the weather pattern is cycling and predictable. His long-range forecasting method is called the Lezak Recurring Cycle (LCR) theory. This theory resets every autumn, as the jet stream becomes energized, a unique weather pattern sets up and begins to cycle. This theory has helped businesses and will save lives!
