Event Description:
Kansas City staff invites the public to a public meeting on Tuesday, June 21 at 6 p.m. at Sterling Acres Baptist Church at 11200 E. 47th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64133.
The City of Kansas City is working with a steering committee to update the Blue Ridge Area Plan. The area plan boundary area is in Kansas City from 23rd Trafficway in the north to Independence and Raytown city limits in the east to E. 87th Street in the south to Blue River and I-435 in the west.
This area plan will replace Sports Complex and Oak Park South Area Plan.
At the meeting city staff will present information about the area as it pertains to land use & development, transportation, housing & demographics, infrastructure and give a summary of issues to be aware about.
Please join city staff and the steering committee as we plan for the future.
