Name: Ribbon Cutting - Raytown Rotary Little Free Library
Date: May 30, 2017
Time: 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM CDT
Event Description:
Raytown Rotary Club is donating Rotary Little Free Libraries to Colman-Livingood and Kenagy Parks. Ribbon Cutting ceremony will be held at Colman-Livingood Park near the Rotary Veterans Peace Plaza on the 59th Street side of the park.

The Raytown Club received a matching grant from Rotary District 6040 for the construction and installation. Part of the requirements for receiving the grant is for Rotarians to work personally in the installation and upkeep of the reading materials.
Constructed by Shamrock Cabinets, these Little Libraries will contain books appropriate for children and adults.

They are free and can be taken from the Libraries, kept, and/or returned for others to read. Appropriate replacements will be accepted by Rotarians to add to the collections at both locations.
