Mid-Continent Public Library, Independence Chamber of Commerce, Raytown Chamber of Commerce, and the South Kansas City Alliance will be hosting a free Small Business Bootcamp seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2015, at the Midwest Genealogy Center. 
 
The goal of this event is to connect people who are thinking about starting a business with helpful information and resources. Breakout sessions with local experts on evaluating your business idea, finances, demographic analysis, and state regulations will be available for patrons to choose from.
