The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for students, visitors, staff, and vendors. This role is responsible for greeting guests, managing incoming communications, and performing general administrative duties that support smooth campus operations and uphold a professional, welcoming environment.
Front Desk Operations
Greet students, staff, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
Answer and direct phone calls and emails to the appropriate departments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Administrative Support
Manage daily attendance logs and student sign-ins.
Schedule appointments and assist with coordinating meetings.
File and organize documents, forms, and records.
Support data entry, printing, scanning, and mail distribution.
Student & Visitor Assistance
Provide accurate information regarding school programs, policies, and procedures.
Assist students with forms, general questions, and direct them to the right resources.
Monitor and enforce visitor sign-in and identification protocols.
Communication & Organization
Relay important messages to staff and students in a timely manner.
Support event setup and communication (orientation, graduation, open house, etc.).
Track and report supply needs for front desk or administrative areas.
High school diploma or GED required
1+ year of receptionist, customer service, or front office experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment (phones, copiers, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
Experience working in an educational or vocational training environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Monday–Friday (with occasional weekends for special events or extended hours)
