About Us

The Aviation Institute of Maintenance – Kansas City Campus is proud to train the next generation of aviation maintenance professionals. Located in the heart of the Midwest, our school offers hands-on instruction in Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanics, avionics, and advanced aircraft systems. Our graduates go on to support major airlines, private aviation, military contractors, and aerospace manufacturers across the country.

We believe in second chances, career changes, and building confidence through skilled trades education. Our students come from diverse backgrounds but share one thing in common: a drive to work with their hands, fix what’s broken, and keep America flying.

Our Career Services team partners closely with local employers to support hiring needs and connect students with real-world opportunities. As a member of the Raytown Chamber of Commerce, we are eager to deepen our involvement in the community, support workforce development, and collaborate with fellow businesses to lift the region.

Whether you're looking to hire our graduates, speak on campus, or tour our training hangar, we’d love to connect. Let’s build something together—one rivet at a time.
